I'm saving my best
In terms of wishes
My soul finally rests.
My wish has been
A number of things
Finding I'm going in circles
The adventure begins.
Laughter's the best medicine
Sets my soul on fire
Wanting to be heard
Removing what's snuffed my desire.
Becoming the author
Of my spirits world
Being careful as I wade
Through uncertainty my powers hurled.
Ending certain challenges
Moving in my own way
Placing myself where I belong
Setting the chips on display.
Believing in myself
Although shadows haunt me in the night
As I experience this shift
I allow my wings to take flight.
