Make a difference.

“You can stand out, stand up or stand alone, and either way, see to it that you are standing for something.“

Sunset over a body of water with clouds in the sky and trees on the right side.

My time standing still in these moments and taking pictures of all of this life that surrounds me, has been my saving grace, my solitude space and my quiet time to think, feel and muddle through the unknown of what the future holds.

My thoughts consumed by the chaos unfolding before us, unfortunately holds a fear to what may become the inevitable future brought before us by the universe that surrounds our every being, our fate and our future.

As I stand here mesmerized by the beauty of the universe that provides me with breath every day, I awaken each and every moment of my souls being, with resilience by my side and I am taken back to this sacred space I am blessed to call my home.

Home to live, home to lift my sights to the skies above and thankful for the breathes that are taken every day, with peace and solitude in mind. This space created before me and for me, I shall never take for granted because as everything in this world is taken for granted at this time, we stop believing in the unknown universe and we become lost following the steps of many others lost on this journey as well.

Take the time you need for yourself to not harbor hatred, unkindness or spite for you never know, when your days may become forever night.

“It all begins with you and you can become the positive light, life and change we wish to see this this world, in this lifetime, and in this beautiful space we are given to live and breath freely. Don’t take for a moment the time you have been given for granted, as time’s are changing, so is your time here on Earth.” Be thankful for what you have been given, for in a flash it can be taken away.”

“ Walk in your own light.”

Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you design a space that nurtures quiet time and inner peace:

🪷 Step 1: Choose Your Sacred Spot

  • Pick a quiet location: A corner of your room, a cozy nook, or even a spot by a window works beautifully.

  • Prioritize privacy: Use curtains, screens, or room dividers to create boundaries from distractions.

  • Natural light is a bonus: Sunlight promotes relaxation and enhances mood.

🧹 Step 2: Clear and Cleanse the Space

  • Declutter intentionally: Remove anything that doesn’t serve peace or purpose.

  • Clean the area: A tidy space reflects a clear mind.

  • Energetic cleansing: Use sage, incense, or sound (like a singing bowl) to reset the energy.

🪑 Step 3: Add Comfort and Support

  • Choose your seat: A meditation cushion, yoga mat, or supportive chair.

  • Layer with softness: Blankets, pillows, or a cozy rug to invite warmth.

  • Posture matters: Ensure your setup supports relaxed yet alert sitting.

🕯️ Step 4: Set the Mood with Sensory Elements

  • Lighting: Use candles, string lights, or a salt lamp for a gentle glow.

  • Aromatherapy: Diffuse essential oils like lavender, sandalwood, or frankincense.

  • Sound: Play calming music, nature sounds, or use a white noise machine.

🖼️ Step 5: Personalize with Meaningful Touches

  • Spiritual symbols: Statues, crystals, or sacred texts that resonate with you.

  • Nature elements: Plants, flowers, or stones to ground and refresh.

  • Affirmations or art: Visual reminders of peace, healing, and intention.

🧘 Step 6: Establish a Ritual

  • Begin with breath: A few deep inhales to center yourself.

  • Set an intention: Choose a word or phrase to guide your session (e.g., “peace,” “release,” “restore”).

  • Close with gratitude: Reflect on what you received from the quiet.

🌌 🌿 Creating a peaceful space for mindfulness and healing is like building a sanctuary for your soul—one that invites stillness, clarity, and restoration.
